A two track shed based on Templecombe Lower Engine Shed (1951 to 1966) . The building is extant today, being used for industrial purposes. Similar style buildings were used at St. Leonards and Tonbridge.
The model length is extensible ad infinitum. The basic structure will accommodate two small tank engines or diesel shunters side by side (e.g. 0-6-0) with buffer stops (int. length: 174 mm) . Add one extension (length: 58 mm) and larger tank engines can be housed. Three extensions are required for two large tender steam or diesel locomotives with buffer stops.
Footprint: 186 mm x 133 mm (Basic model) . Each extension +58 mm long.
Build skill level: ADVANCED (See Welcome Page for definition) .
Rated ADVANCED because of intricate window frame cutting.
