Petrol Service Station

A typical kerbside motor service station from the first half of the 20th century, noted for their swing out fuel dispensing arms. Inspiration for this model came from a building in Welshpool that opened for business as a service station in 1925. The model is packed with details including Avery Hardoll Type S pumps, swinging fuel dispensing arms, operational doors and fitted out shop.

White washed interior and frontage. Roughly hewn Purbeck stone to side and rear.

Fit as much of the detail as you wish.

Available as a full build or low relief. The low relief version has full frontage details and perspective interior.

Car & figure not supplied.

Full Build Model Footprint: 145 mm x 190 mm, including overhangs.
Low Relief Model Footprint: 145 mm x 24 mm (40 mm including lamp and signs)

Rated ADVANCED because of many small parts, intricate window frame cutting and gutters and moving parts assembly.

  • 90 mm x 1 mm diameter wire
  • 495 mm x 0.5 diameter wire
  • 190 mm x 7/0.2 black electrical wire

You still need to print the model kit yourself and source adhesives.
